What can I do if I can’t set up my D-Link IoT sensors?
- Confirm that your AQUILA PRO AI app is up to date.
- Open your AQUILA PRO AI app, tap menu on the upper left corner, and then tap About.
- Your current app version will be shown below the AQUILA PRO AI logo.
- Compare your app version to the latest app version listed on the App Store or Google Play Store. Press and check Version History: https://apps.apple.com/tw/app/aquila-pro-ai/id1672931981, or About the App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dlink.aquila&hl
If you find that your AQUILA PRO AI app is out of date, head over to your mobile device’s app store, and update the AQUILA PRO AI app.
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled for the AQUILA PRO AI app in your phone/tablet settings.
- Unpair any unused Bluetooth devices from your phone since this can take up phone resources.
- Turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on.
- Verify that Location Permissions are enabled for the AQUILA PRO AI app in your phone/ tablet settings.
- Make sure that it is set to Always or While Using the App.
- For iOS users, make sure that Precise Location is turned on.
- Verify that the device’s status light is flashing orange.
If the device's status light is solid red, press the reset button until the light turns red. Release the reset button and wait for the device light to start flashing orange.
- Check your Wi-Fi environment.
- Disable the mobile data on your mobile device.
- Ensure that your mobile phone or tablet is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that you selected when setting up the device, and that the correct SSID (Wi-Fi name) is chosen.
- Check that you are entering the Wi-Fi password correctly. Tap the eye icon to view the password you are entering.
- Make sure the device and phone/tablet are close to the router during setup.
- Forget the Wi-Fi network on your phone/tablet and then rejoin the network. Then try setting up the device again.
- Use another mobile device for setup purposes.
- Power cycle your D-Link device and your home router.
