How can I test SW-A2 to make sure it is working properly?
To conserve battery life, the device remains in power-saving mode unless a leak is detected. To ensure the device is up and running, you can wake up the device to make sure it’s working by pressing the button on the backside. The device will communicate with the associated SW-A1 hub, whose built-in siren will sound 3 times, and a test push notification will be sent to your mobile app. Additionally, you may also pour some water to make contact with the 4 metal probes on the backside of the device (do not fully submerge the device to avoid damage) to see if the device is working.
If you don’t receive push notifications, please check the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure that all four metal probes of SW-A2 are in contact with water.
- The device is located within 300 feet of SW-A1. Move SW-A2 closer to SW-A1 to have a strong connection.
- Check the app permissions for the AQUILA PRO AI app. Notifications must be allowed on your OS settings.
